Camping De Wulp is located on the edge of the dune area in Noordwijk. From the campsite, you can walk and cycle towards the beach, bulb fields, and the coastal towns in the region. The fresh sea air, vast beaches, and walking routes make the area suitable for those who love being outdoors. In the diverse surroundings, you will also find lively village centers with shops, terraces, and weekly markets. Below you will find an overview of what the area has to offer.

Dunes and nature – Hollands Duin
Camping De Wulp is located directly next to the Natura 2000 area Hollands Duin. This protected dune landscape stretches along the coast of South Holland and is known for its open sandy plains, dune valleys, and special plant and bird species. From the campsite, you can walk straight into the dune area. The paths are suitable for short rounds or longer walks towards the sea.
At a short distance are also the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes. This nature reserve is known for the large population of fallow deer and extensive walking possibilities off the beaten track. A suitable destination for those who want to take a long walk.
Walking and cycling
The surroundings of Noordwijk are very suitable for recreational walking and cycling. There are quiet routes through the dunes, towards the beach and the Bulb Region. Route tips are available at the campsite. Bikes can be rented through the reception or directly from Rent-A-Bike van Dam.

Beach and sea
The beach of Noordwijk is located a short distance from the campsite.
- Duindamseslag (approx. 1.5 km) is accessible on foot or by bike and has a beach pavilion.
- Langervelderslag and Noordwijk aan Zee with boulevard and terraces are accessible by bike or car.
Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout
Noordwijk is a historic coastal village with a shopping street, a boulevard, beach bars, and terraces. There are regular weekly markets and small-scale activities.
Noordwijkerhout is a short distance away and has a village character with a cozy center around the White Church. Here you will find shops, hospitality, and the nearest supermarket.
Around the Oosterduinse Meer in Noordwijkerhout there are walking opportunities and two catering establishments for coffee, lunch, or dinner.

Culture, museums and cities
Noordwijk and the surroundings offer a calm and cultural atmosphere where nature and history come together. In and around the village you will find small museums that tell the story of the old fishing life and the development of the seaside resort. Atmospheric cities such as Leiden and Haarlem, with historic canals, old buildings, and museums, are nearby. This allows you to easily combine a relaxing day at the sea with a cultural trip in the region.
Bulb region and Keukenhof
The Bollenstreek is known for its colorful flower fields that transform the landscape into a living painting in the spring. Between Noordwijk, Lisse, and the surrounding villages, vast fields of tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils bloom, creating a unique and peaceful environment for walking or cycling. In the spring, Keukenhof also attracts many visitors, where millions of flowers can be admired in beautiful gardens and flower shows. Together, the Bollenstreek and Keukenhof form one of the most characteristic and atmospheric landscapes in the Netherlands.
